Justin's Hot Spots in Ekaterinburg - Traveler's Coffee

Being an American, I am quite picky when it comes to finding a good cup of coffee at a reasonable price. Gone are the days when I could meander down to the local diner in Rhode Island and grab a cup of joe and read the morning newspaper.

However, after years of living in Ekaterinburg and forcing down several different kinds of what sometimes could only be called soggy grinds, I have finally found a great tasting and not-so-exepensive morning energy supplement that I more than enjoy.

This week, Id like to tell you about Traveler's Coffee.

It's a great little place on the 8th of March, not far from my office. Not only is the coffee amazing, but the muffins are close to "how mama used to make," and the cheese cake... out of this world - I happen to be a sucker for some good cheese cake!

I used to be a business manager, so when it comes to a good and clean place to eat, I know what to look for!

Cleanliness: Looking around, everything in the cafe is spotless and well organized.

Hospitality: As soon as you walk in the door, you are greeting with a resounding "Good morning/day/evening," by all the waitstaff and managers which happen to be at the front counter. Rare to find these days, even back home. The servers are kind and attentive, and only smile sympathetically as they listen to me butcher my way through their language as I place my order.

Atmosphere: An excellent place to sit and relax. You can listen to the soft music of various international origins playing in the background while taking advantage of their free Wi-Fi to go about your business on the web.

Maintenance: Taveler's is rather new, and therefore everything is in great condition. I especially like the pictures and decorations that help make you feel more like sitting in a living room than in a corporate coffee shop.

As for the quality of the food and coffee, it's amazing!

Pricing: It's a little on the pricey side, but average for it's being located in the center of the city.

I, as well as many other foreigners regularly visit this establishment, and if you're looking for a good place to relax, or get your morning caffeine jolt to get you going, I highly recommend stopping by. Look for me, I'll probably be there!
